Help Wanted: Mark Supik Woodturning Workshops Is Moving
Mark Supik Woodturning Workshops
January 2018
We’ve found a new home for the shop!
After 36 years on Haven Street, it’s time for us to move. We’ll miss our neighbors at Monument City Brewing and all of our friends in the Highlandtown Arts District. Hoping you can all find your way 15 blocks north to our new location in Baltimore City’s Orangeville neighborhood at 1200 N. Macon St., 21205. We’ll send some photos with our next newsletter.
Our very special thanks to our real estate agents, Doug Kaufman and Shawn Fitzpatrick at AGM Commercial, for their invaluable help and friendship over the past 3 months as we’ve searched for a new location and to many of you who have supported us with tips, well wishes and offers to help us pack! (We’re keeping a list, so we hope you were serious.)
We’ll be taking a break from offering woodturning workshops for the next few months as we get settled in. Watch for our new schedule in April 2018.
Great to see so many friends on a cold weekend at the Wood Show in Timonium in January. This year’s raffle winner is Terry Hosford. We look forward to seeing him at a workshop this spring.
Help us move (please!)
Thanks to all of you who have said “whatever you need” over the past few months. Here’s what we need. We’ve set aside two Saturdays and some Thursday and Friday afternoons as “volunteer” packing and hauling days. We’ll provide donuts, Saturday lunch and we’ll pick up your beer tab at Monument City on Thursday afternoons. Have a truck you can bring along? All the better.
Lumber moving. Saturday, February 3rd 8 AM til 3 PM
Packing & moving boxes. Saturday, February 10th 8 AM til 3 PM
More packing & wrapping. Thur & Fri , Feb 1, 2, 8 & 9 from 1 to 5 pm
Let us know if you’re coming. mark@marksupikco.com and Thank You!
