About the meeting
If you are interested you may attend two meetings as a guest before joining. Why don’t you come by and visit for a meeting or two! Check the schedule on our Presentations homepage, click the orange button just below.
The usual order of events for the in-person meeting are shown below, spanning from 9 am to 12pm. During the Covid pandemic, the meetings are conducted virtually, using Zoom technology, and a shorter schedule from 10am to 12pm.
For in-person meetings:
- 0900 – 1000am – Assembly and social, stop by the membership table, drop off show-n-tell items;
- 1000 – 1045am – .
- 1045 – 1100am – Break;
- 1100am – 1200pm – Announcements, guild business, treasurer’s report, 50:50 & door prizes.
For Zoom Virtual Meetings:
- 945am – social period
- 10am – start business agenda
- 11am – start presentation hour
Our usual meeting place is Florence Bain Senior Center in Columbia, Maryland. At various times, our in-person meeting have shifted to different locations. Please keep your email up to date in our records so that you can be kept informed of there is a change.
For Zoom Virtual Meetings, members receive a direct email with connection details a few days before the monthly meeting. Guests can request a Zoom Guest Pass, , good for two months before we ask you to join.
