2024-05-11 May Monthly Meeting Minutes & Video
May 11th, the SECOND Saturday, our monthly meeting will be in person at Bain Center (info link) and virtual using Zoom technology.
The demonstration for the May meeting is “Bench Appliances and Jig Walk-About”. Today’s session is part two of last month’s how to make a good bench.
Have you ever been frustrated when trying to position work pieces a certain way or when a piece creeps away from you as you work? Or you may have had a safety incident when a board flew off the bench or saw table Five Guild members will demonstrate the appliances and jigs that enable them to be productive and precise. Learn about how to make these tested devices or where to order them for the best price.
The format will be our familiar multi-station display table setup about the room. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit each station for 10 minutes, then switch to the next.
