2024-07-13 July Monthly Meeting

July 13th, the Second Saturday, our monthly meeting will be in person at Bain Center (info link) and virtual using Zoom technology.

The demonstration for the JULY meeting is “Enhanced Show and Tell“.

There are many talented and skilled woodworkers in the Howard County Woodworkers Guild that are willing to share their experience with you. Come to the July 13 meeting with Enhanced Show and Tell presentations to learn how to apply new skills to your projects. Four to five members will share the techniques and approaches they used recently on projects that can relate to your woodworking activities. The session will include short presentations and time for Q&A.

The speaker lineup planned so far is:

  1. Steve Parker: The story behind heirloom Bridge City marking tools
  2. Al Goldsborough: Chippendale style dining chairs in walnut
  3. Paul Whitehouse: Making a planing beam, saw horse and shaving horse
  4. Ron Fico: Live Edge box elder table with resin, apron design and construction, tapered legs
  5. David Forester: Converting two flat boards into bowls-using a band saw and lathe

So come and enjoy seeing fellow woodworkers and up your expertise!
