Help Wanted: Plastic Glue or Welding
At the January woodworkers show, a vendor was selling a liquid plastic mender, suitable for all types of plastics. It was very strong. I believe it was German made, I took a card and of course can not find it. Does anybody remember this or knows the name. I cannot find it on line and it is not Bondic or one of the light sensitive products. I broke the hinge on my plastic John deere garden tractor hood. A new hood costs $400. Probably 50 dollars for the hood and 350 for the green paint. If any body knows anything that might work give me a call.

Have you considered using PC7 epoxy steel? I’ve used it successfully to bond steel to wood in the shop – great as a filler, too. Stronger if you have some fiberglass fabric as a base.
