Mike Haigwood

At the April 2nd Board of Directors meeting, Mike announced his resignation after serving as president from September 2020.  At the April 6th monthly membership meeting, Mike made it official with today as the effective date.

The Guild Board of Directors want to share our appreciation for all of Mike’s efforts to lead the guild, show support through volunteerism, and wish him and his wife, Barb, success and happiness in their next Chapter in Colorado. 

Per Guild Bylaws, Article 5, Elected and Appointed Officers of The Corporation, and Their Duties, Section 2, General Duties of Officers, Paragraph 4, 

“Should the President be unable to complete their 2-year term the Vice President will succeed to the President position without the need for another election and serve the remaining time of the original term of office. The new President will then appoint a member, with the approval of the Executive Board, to temporarily fill the Vice President role until an expedited election can be conducted as described above.”
