Call for Enhanced Show and Tell Presenters
for the November 2^nd Meeting

At three to four Guild meetings per year, members have the opportunity to present their work during the program portion of the meeting.  Enhanced Show and Tell highlights several member’s work in some detail. Each presenter has about 10-15 minutes to present with an additional 5 minutes for questions. We need one to two more volunteers to present during the November 2^nd Enhanced Show and Tell.

What should I talk about? (15 minutes)

1. State your name.
2. Show your item. Explain what it is and why you made it.
3. Describe how the item was designed.
4. Is it an original or did you follow a plan, was the plan modified?
5. Describe key features without getting into minute details.
6. Describe the process you followed to make the item.
7. What were the steps to building the item?
8. Include 1 or 2 challenges encountered in making the item.
9. Explain how you finished the item
10. Ask for questions.

What else should I know about?

• If possible, bring the item to the meeting. If not, provide slides or pictures to project on a screen. If you need help preparing slides, contact Kathy Paez.
• Share any resources that would help members build a similar item. For example, web links, handouts, or references to books or magazine articles.
