Inlay Demonstration Description:
In this demonstration, we will take a thorough look at inlay as how it was practiced during the Federal Period in America and how the techniques have evolved to be applicable to modern work. My fundamental goal is to demystify the process and show how with a little practice, most folks can incorporate it into their own work. I’ll tackle all the standard topics of stringing, bandings, paterae, and veneers providing a little historical perspective along the way. I will also demonstrate some modern techniques that just would not have been practical in earlier times. All in all, by the end of the day, participants should have a much better understanding of these timeless techniques.
Please express your thanks to Guild member Joel LaFerriere for orchestrating the demonstration.

Hi guys,
I would like to know the Steve Latta’s email address. I want to ask him some questions about his veneer techniques. I was looking for it on the web, but not finding it. Could somebody send to me his email address, please? Thank you!
Tiberiu
I asked Joel to research this question and get back to us on how to properly engage Steve (this is his paid work, so personal email may not be an option).
