How much weight can a can a 26” x 18” end table with 4-1” oak legs support? 3/4” top. Couldn’t find much info. For possible fish tank. Thanks

A cubic foot of water weighs 64 pounds. I don’t think the absolute weight would be a problem but whether or not the legs are attached to each other could make a big difference
Bill, Google helped me find a PDF published by the (citation) with the details. See it https://www.fpl.fs.fed.us/documnts/fplgtr/fplgtr113/ch04.pdf, page 4-6.
White OAK, compression load parallel to grain, wet 24,500 kPa, dry 59,300 kPa.
I could not find dimensions of material used in the tests that produced the tables. I found “deep” reading at the beginning and end of the tables.
