Financial Backup Job Description
This position is designed to be fulfilled by a board appointed individual whose primary purpose is to facilitate the transition of the treasurer role when there is a change in personnel.
In addition to the information for the role described in the Bylaws, Article 7, Section 8, these remarks are intended to inform and advise.
- Reports to the President and Board of Directors
- Non-elected co-owner/signer with PNC Bank, Business Accounts.
- Manage PNC Bank’s online banking primary account.
- Transition elected position changes with PNC Bank.
- Facilitate other actions with PNC Bank as board approved.

- Guild’s Principle Office Address.
- Keep Registration current and maintain all state and guild records.
- Keep Guild in “Good Standing”.
- File Annual Personal Property Report.
- May back up the treasurer for filing of Federal and Maryland State Income Taxes, payment of insurance premium, and other authorized disbursements of Guild funds as circumstances may dictate.
