2014-12-12 Wood Chip Newsletter
Hello Guild Members,
Happy Holidays to you. We hope the newsletter finds you well and looking forward the festivities yet to come this month.
We want to take this opportunity to update you on new ads posted to the web site and an update/clarification from Wayne Austin, Shop Coordinator.

- Urgent: We need a volunteer to take the Thursday daytime Workshop Monitor shift. This is a correction to the last Wood Chip post where we mistakenly indicated the coverage was for the Thursday evening shop hours. Members who are able but not necessarily schooled in monitor duties are invited to contact Wayne Austin directly for information and to sign up.
- Projects: Rick Munzer recently shared his solid wood woven basket project. Intrigued, I researched and found a great blog post and patterns website, though I haven’t found Rick’s basket pattern yet, which I really liked. View my post HERE. And if you have any input or comments on this topic, click the link and comment right on the post. Go ahead, try it.
- For Sale:
- Lathes and Combo Disk/Belt Sander. Check out Jordon Kitt’s ad for two 12″ lathes and large format disk belt sander combination tool. Click HERE to view the details.
