2018-04-28 New Membership Badges for FY2018-2019
The membership renewal drive for next fiscal year (FY2018-2019) has started! Our brand new badge design is complete. Guild Officer and Shop Monitor badges are all printed. Members who have already paid, or I receive your renewal by Thursday, 3 May, will also have their new cards printed for the May monthly meeting on 5 May.
Members are urged to pay by personal check. Please bring your check to the May, June or July meeting. Make your check out to HCWG in the amount of $35 and write in the note field “Renewal 2018-2019”.

2018-2019 Membership Renewal May through 7 July Meeting
It is that time of year again when the Guild membership should renew for the next fiscal year, 1 July 2018 through 30 June 2019. AVOID THE LATE FEE! 2018-05 May Monthly Meeting
The May 2018 monthly meeting will occur as usual at Bain Center on the first Saturday of May. The demonstration will be by Bill Peirce – Bandsaw Segmented Bowls. You’ve seen him at shown-n-tell, you won’t want to miss a full one hour exploration of Bill’s techniques. Be sure to arrive early to get front row seat. Last month our meeting was cancelled by the County Facilities management due to cold temperatures and overnight power failure, and a concern for visitor safety should the power fail again. This month, April, we again face a weather event with a potential for five inches of SNOW! For these reason we’re trying to establish a notification method that you can use to possibly save you a trip to Bain Center.
