About the meeting
The usual order of events for the meeting is:
- 9 AM -10 – Assembly and social, stop by the membership table, drop of show-n-tell items;
- 10 -11 – Demonstration;
- 11 – 11:15 – Break;
- 11:15 – 12 PM – Announcements, guild business, treasurer’s report, 50:50 & door prizes.

Harold Goodman was the featured demonstration at the July 2014 Guild Monthly meeting. Harold held everyone’s attention for more than an hour as he spoke first about what he likes about carving and his experiences at shows and fairs. Harold then presented his carving instruments and was careful to point out that only a few simple designs are all that one would need to get started.
