Our by-laws dictate that every two years we conduct President and Vice President elections.  The president appoints a nominating committee Chairman who will orchestrate the proceedings.

This cycle, Dave Knipfer has accepted the role.

Interested candidates or persons making nominations are urged to contact Dave directly.

At the August meeting, Dave and the nomination committee will present the candidates.

In September Dave and the nominating committee will conduct elections.  At that meeting, the results will be announced and the newly elected officers will assume their duties immediately.  Newly elected officials will be mentored by their predecessors.

Persons who occupy the President and Vice President positions for two consecutive terms may not run for a third or subsequent terms unopposed.  An exception is allowed when after due diligence the nomination committee is unable to provide an opponent.  In this case the current Present or Vice President may run again.

It is a great honor and privilege to serve your fellow members.  Please consider stepping up for a volunteer position.  If not for president or vice president, perhaps for one of the other open positions.
