This forthcoming two-hour workshop will teach students the tools and techniques for sharpening handsaws, including:

• Panel saws,
• Dovetail saws,
• Rip saws, and
• Crosscut saws. 

Techniques will be demonstrated, and then each student will be provided a saw sharpening file, a vintage rip saw to sharpen, and any other tools needed for sharpening. 

The saw, file, and a saw sharpening vise are included as part of the fee and are the student’s to keep after the workshop. 

Limit to six participants.

Workshop will take place in the Guild shop at the Bain Center on Wednesday May 7, 2025, 4-7 PM.
