For Sale: Spring Equip Auction (online) closing tomorrow 3/26.
Note to the guild.
Tomorrow (Friday 3/26/21) is the closing of the annual spring equipment auction at HoCo Fairgrounds.
They have tractors of all sizes, quads, golf carts, power tools, hand tools, farm equipment like gates, troughs and feeders, as well as a big assortment of miscellaneous items. I count close to 5000 lots.
I looked at about half the items before falling asleep last night. There were plenty of chop saws, drills, planes and chisels, but I have yet to see any tongs/forges/anvils for blacksmithing. I will re-share if I do.
Note that with COVID and bored people at home, the auctions have been running pretty hot, but with this many lots some good deals are bound to be available.
The Details:
To bid you have to register with www.gregorysauctions.com (*no relation). And the auction is hosted by hibidauctions.com If it runs like their normal sales it will start closing at 7 pm on Friday night and consume about 20 lots every minute until done. You can place bids but live bidding is often the most useful option. Don’t forget that in addition to your bid you will pay taxes (6%) and auctioneers fees (10-15%) on top of your highest bid price.
Once you win you will pick up from HoCo FG usually on Tuesday.
Happy hunting.
cheers,
-Greg
