Nominate Yourself or Someone Else   Volunteer for the Election Committee

President and Secretary positions are up for election this September, 2024. Both positions will be vacated so it is imperative for guild volunteers to step into these critical roles.

It is perplexing to me then to note that as of this writing, we have ZERO candidates for Secretary, and only one for President, the incumbent.

ZERO!  What is going on?  We have more than 230 new and renewed members for this fiscal year.  
Are there TWO among you who WILL VOLUNTEER?

Maybe you are concerned about the extent of the commitment?  Let me summarize, excluding participation as a member in monthly meetings and occasional activities for any member, as follows.

• The President:
  • Presides at the monthly board meeting.  Usually it is one hour.
  • Approves the agendas for all meetings.
  • Moderates the monthly meeting.
  • Signs all legal documents and contracts.
• Secretary:
• Monthly:
  • Attends the monthly board meeting. Usually it is one hour.
  • Prepares board meeting agenda, takes role, takes minutes,
  • Alternate signer of legal documents and contracts.
