- Booth Location
- As of Wednesday at 830pm we do not know which exhibitor hall we are in, or where our booth is located. We will find both out tomorrow morning and update the volunteer team by email during the day Thursday.
- Work Day Check-in –
- Go into the main entrance, bypass the ticket booth and visit the show exhibitor check-in desk. Tell them you’re with the Howard County Woodworkers Guild, and give them your name. It will be matched to the worker’s list I will print and give to them.
- Booth responsibilities
- Be pleasant and promote the guild’s activities. For interested parties, give them a member brochure and be sure to ask if they’d like to join.
- Skill and project demonstrations
- We are not conducting any turning demonstration this year.

- How to handle membership inquiries

- If they want to join, you can offer to help them do it online, or take a paper application that I’ve left in the booth. We prefer a check, or via the online form, a credit card (for January the dues are $22.50). If you accept cash, please be sure to safeguard the cash until you can give it to a shop monitor, if you’re a monitor put it in the cash box, or bring it to the January meeting on the 14th and give it to Mark Fradkin (Treasurer), I (Gene) will not be at the January monthly meeting.

- Q&A
- Exhibitors, those who are exhibiting only, please have your items at the show no later than 12PM Friday, January 6th. Make sure your name and a project description (specie, finish, method of production) is taped to the bottom of your display item. Ron Lambert will have your items at the workshop Monday, January 9th for pickup. You can also pick up your item Sunday at the show between 2 and 3pm.
