2022-08-24 Important Notices – Meeting Restart, Election 2022, Member Interests Survey
OCTOBER IN-PERSON MEETING
Starting with the October 1st Monthly Meeting, we will begin in-person meetings at the Florence Bain 50+ Senior Center in Columbia, Maryland. Here’s what you need to know:
- At Bain Center, 9AM to 12PM. Also virtual attendance by Zoom from 10AM to 12PM.

- Separate correspond will go out to our suspended members, and expired prior members providing them with specific information about how to reactivate or rejoin.
- Membership Renewal IS NOT NEEDED YET. We have to figure out our budget and calculate the new dues amount. This is not expected to be completed until after the November Board of Directors meeting. The soonest membership renewal would begin would be December 2022.
For the 2022 election cycle, with the President, Secretary and Treasurer positions up for election, the Board of Directors has decided to conduct an expanded election period from Tuesday, September 6th, through 1030AM, Saturday, September 10th. We will use a Digital Ballot.
On September 6th after 4PM, you will receive a personal email written by Keith Frampton, Election Committee Chair, sent by our Guild email address with a link to the Digital Ballot on our web site. Login is optional.
MEMBER INTERESTS SURVEY
We sent out an email invitation today to each member inviting you to complete our Member Interests Survey. This instrument will help our board shape our programs and operations to better fit your interests and learning goals. Please complete the survey today. The measurement period ends August 31st, 2022.
