H2 suggested a pattern of Monthly BoD meetings, the week before the week of the monthly meeting.  Tuesday emerged as the best choice after some discussion.  H1 prefers 7PM due to early rising for work.  Mike H2 will send out a note to the board members confirming.  If agreed, then the BoD meeting for September will be August 31st at 7PM.

Gene will notify membership that the Wednesday coffee at Bain Center has resumed.

Manny reported that today in the shop he and a monitor noticed that a Howard County property tag was on the dust collector.  Manny will get a photo of the property tag for Gene to use in discussions the HoCo.

Workshop Opening Policy – Who is authorized to open the workshop.  July monthly meeting discussion revealed there was some confusion about who in the Guild is allowed to request Bain Center staff to unlock the shop door and allow access.  The Board defers further discussion and action on this matter until a follow-up with Ron Lambert can be in attendance to revisit the language in the Workshop Policy, and the question of contingency supervised access by a member who may have left a personal item in the shop (keys, wallet, bag…).

For the HoCo Fair, Gene will send out a reminder about Wood Craft items must be submitted by Friday 30 July.  Judging is Saturday,
