My name is Tom McLaughlin and I am a career woodworker, host of  Classic Woodworking (PBS TV), long standing member of the New Hampshire Furniture Masters, as well as host of a live weekly YouTube series under the name Shop Night Live. 

I’d like to invite your members to join me in a FREE livestream course on building a Craftsman Coffee Table which begins tomorrow night, June 2. It’s the 3rd project I’ve done in this format, instigated by the conditions related to COVID to give folks an opportunity to engage in something creative during these times.

The first two projects I did in this format were a Shaker End Table with a Drawer and a Shop Stool. Click the title of each to be taken to the Playlists which house the video sessions — 8 and 6 sessions respectively. 

The Craftsman Coffee Table course will go for 5 sessions and can be watched live, or after the fact at their convenience. We will go step-by-step through the construction of the piece, as well as a discussion on a typical finishing process for landing at that beautiful, desired Craftsman style furniture finish. Here are the dates and times of each session — we film these Shop Sessions 3x per week. The can be viewed live or later at our Epic Woodworking YouTube Channel:
