Monitors –
Next time you monitor, please ask members who arrive at the shop to:
– wear their safety glasses marked Z87+. If they do not have these type
of glasses, they must be asked to leave. We are considering having a
limited stock of safety glasses that members may purchase.

– read the Highlights page (copies placed on the desk) before
they start working, and
– ask if they received a copy of the SP&G. Some are not in the habit
of reading e-mail. Please ask them if they have the capability to read
PDF files sent by e-mail. I placed copies of the SP&G on the desk that
may borrowed overnight.
There is a log sheet titled Acknowledgment of Shop Policy and Guide on the
front desk to indicate who read the Highlights page and whether or not a member
received a copy of the SP&G.

I have already received feedback on the SP&G regarding cutting wood
with moisture content greater than 15%. I’ve made an edit for clarification
purposes (not a change in policy) that will be distributed in a later version.
Just want you to be aware.
